I lead a team of 20 passionate engineers to prototype, design, manufacture, wire and program a FIRST Robotics Competition robot in just 72 hours. In particular, I used this opportunity to teach 4 first-year Mechatronics Engineering students how to use the WPILib Java library, how to use git to code collaboratively, the principles of autonomous path-planning, and closed-loop control algorithms. Additionally, I worked an experienced machinist and designer to lead 10 engineers through a full design cycle including prototyping, CAD, manufacturing, and assembling our robot.

Throughout the process, I acted as a spokesperson for my team, explaining the design and prototyping process as a resource for thousands of students participating in this year's high school competition.
