# Max Goldberg > Mechanical Engineer with HVAC and BIM experience Location: Antioch, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/maxgoldberg I am a Mechanical Engineer working at Therma on commercial HVAC projects. I specialize in BIM Modeling and prefer working in Revit. I have held this position since 2018, before which I worked at Western Allied Mechanical on similar projects. My experience with both companies has been excellent. I graduated in December of 2014 from San Jose State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, with a concentration in Mechanical Design. I love to engage difficult problems and talk to smart people. I find that I tend to like the tasks that other engineers don't, and vice versa. I enjoy using my visual/spatial reasoning, and I like applying my experience and knowledge to answer questions. Besides HVAC, I have an interest in manufacturing, mechanism design, product design, and renewable energy projects. Outside of engineering, my primary passions are classic cars and skiing. I live in Antioch CA with my wife and our two cats. ## Work Experience ### Mechanical Designer @ BELDEN Consulting Engineers Jan 2025 – Present | Pleasanton, California, United States ### Senior Mechanical Designer @ PM Group Jan 2025 – Jan 2025 | Fremont, California, United States ### Mechanical Engineer & BIM @ Therma Jan 2018 – Jan 2025 | San Jose, California, United States Primary Responsibilities: Production of Permit & Construction documents for Commercial HVAC projects.
