In May 2021, I was moved to the Workflows team to help with one of our company's top initiatives.

* Introduced team to Pusher/Websockets by adding it to our product for real-time updates

* Started a runbook to document common tasks as the on-call dev and share knowledge

* Planned and lead a HIC (High Integrity Commitment) project for adding Workflows to a highly anticipated new tool, Procore Document Management, and delivered ahead of schedule

* Continuing consultation/support for our Spectrum integration

* Led effort to reduce support issues handled by engineering (reduced support issue count by over half)

* Advocated for Production Support Engineers to become Software Engineers once support issues were manageable (this eventually happened in 2018; all teammates transferred to the Software Engineer title and all engineers on the team started handling support issues)

A great learning experience but, like most startups, a failure to launch. Individual doctors were convinced but we couldn't get much traction with hospitals when we were running this part-time.
