I designed, developed, and grew Hackterms to 1200+ definitions from 800+ users. ### Product Operations @ Codecademy Jan 2015 – Jan 2017 | Greater New York City Area • Collaborated with key stakeholders across the organization to design, validate, and deploy the company’s first paid product: a tutoring feature serving 10K+ users. • Led development on a project review and tutor scheduling tools for 2000+ paid users, resulting in 250% NPS increase. • Built communication and reporting tools for a team of 120+ tutors supporting 10K+ monthly paying learners. • Scaled and managed a team of remote tutors from 35 to 150. Managed two HR contractors. ### Advisor and Mentor @ Codecademy Jan 2015 – Jan 2015 | Greater New York City Area I joined Codecademy as an Advisor for the Codecademy Pro initiative, where I helped users debug code and solve coding challenges as they made their way through the Codecademy content (HTML/CSS + Bootstrap, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, React.js) I also guided users through big-picture questions about learning to code and applying their newfound skills, and gathered student feedback to help Codecademy define and better the Pro product. ### Manager of Outreach @ Indiegogo Jan 2015 – Jan 2015 As the Manager of Outreach, my job was to find, onboard, and manage the most successful campaigns on Indiegogo. My work was split between working with campaigners individually and discovering and engaging new campaigns through market research and mass outreach. • Personally identified, targeted, pitched and closed high-quality campaigns totaling over $450,000 in funds raised. • Designed and implemented an outreach campaign to engage inactive campaigns leading to a 350% increase in project activation. • Built and executed A/B tests on different forms of user communication via email and Intercom to help discover and effectively qualify new markets. • Responded to 30+ user inquiries per day.
