Developed and implemented a threshold-based algorithm to enhance motion detection. Used

intersection-of-union algorithm for labeling objects as static/moving.

Researched motion flow computation using OpenCV with CUDA acceleration. Identified

background subtraction as a suitable technique.

Improved object detection speeds. Used background subtraction functions from OpenCV library

to select areas with motion.
