# Max Ma > Product / Design Lead at LiveX | Building AI Products for the Physical World | Human-AI Interaction, Digital Humans, Multimodal Interfaces Location: Palo Alto, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/maxma1 I lead product and design at LiveX, where I focus on building AI for the physical world. My work sits at the intersection of conversational AI, embodied interfaces, and real-world interaction design — rethinking how people engage with machines in an era where AI is no longer confined to screens, but becoming present in spaces, devices, and everyday environments. At LiveX, I drive the product vision and end-to-end design of AI-powered experiences that connect digital intelligence with physical interaction. From AI agents and multimodal interfaces to digital humans and spatial touchpoints, I explore how AI can become more intuitive, expressive, and useful in the real world. What interests me most is not just how to make AI usable, but how to define the product logic behind human-AI interaction: How should AI behave in physical environments? What makes interaction feel natural, trustworthy, and alive? How do we design systems that bridge human intention and machine intelligence in seamless ways? I’m especially interested in the emerging theory and practice of Human-AI Interaction — designing products that redefine the boundary between people and machines, and creating new interaction models for the AI era. Previously, I’ve led and contributed to design across AI, XR, and emerging technology spaces, with experience spanning product strategy, interaction design, and immersive systems. ## Work Experience ### Prduct / Design Lead @ LiveX AI Jan 2025 – Present | Palo Alto, California, United States • Lead product and design for AI systems in the physical world, redefining how humans interact with intelligent machines beyond screens. • Own the end-to-end product and design strategy for AI agents, multimodal interfaces, and real-world interaction experiences. • Define and build next-generation human-AI interaction models, focusing on presence, behavior, and usability in physical environments. • Lead the creation of digital humans and immersive, spatial experiences that bridge conversational AI with real-world touchpoints. • Translate emerging AI capabilities into scalable products, shaping how intelligence is experienced through devices, environments, and embodied interfaces. ### Design Lead @ DeepMirror Jan 2020 – Jan 2024 | Santa Clara, California, United States • Led design initiatives for diverse B2C and B2B projects, focusing on product strategy and interaction design. • Developed prototypes and visual designs that enhance user experience in extended reality environments. • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to bridge user needs with emerging technologies, ensuring intuitive and immersive experiences. ### Co Founder @ windyvale Technology, Inc.
