I worked full time in New York during the summers of 2017 and 2018. I was also hired to work part-time remotely from Santa Clara during the school year.

Designed and built the front end and parts of the back end for a JavaScript (React) app for uploading and editing metadata on hundreds of photos at a time. Photo editors at the Journal use the app every day.

Worked on improving a “smart crop” algorithm that can intelligently crop images to any requested size based on example crops that highlight important areas of the photo.
