•Utilized Kotlin, PostgreSQL, Spring Boot, RabbitMQ, and Google Cloud technologies alongside Agile development methodologies on a daily basis to design, improve, maintain, and troubleshoot critical high-volume internal real estate operations software applications to improve the efficiency of title insurance orders for clients.
•Worked individually to implement a technical solution that received events from both the legacy codebase and current codebase to introduce an email notification system to notify clients in real time when a relevant real estate document associated with their order is ready to be viewed, to increase customer engagement levels for the internal product team.
•Worked closely with Technical Lead Software Engineer to re-design the current code structure of the fee calculation service within the internal real estate software application to be more maintainable and efficient to improve revenue.
•Utilized existing Java knowledge and free online resources to quickly educate myself about the previously unfamiliar Kotlin programming language to enable myself to contribute production changes to the codebase through pull requests within initial weeks of employment to reduce the technical debt from the team’s backlog.
