This includes how AI gets embedded in our automation platform and how we drive usage of our teams' products. In addition to my core work with those teams, I drive product and design strategy for emerging company-level initiatives and design-first vision projects. ### Lead Product Designer, Automation and Analytics @ Benchling Jan 2025 – Jan 2026 | San Francisco, CA In addition to leading ongoing improvements in Lab Auto and Benchling Connect, my role centered around unifying capabilities across these product areas and integrating them with Benchling’s automation platform. I also contributed to the development of our Analysis product, ensuring its alignment with the automation platform. As a Lead Product Designer, I have created extensible research frameworks to be used not only by designers but by PMs and Customer Experience colleagues. Additionally, I contributed to the larger strategy of how we can better automate experiences for end users with the aim to increase productivity and let scientists focus on the science. ### Senior Product Designer, Lab Automation + Benchling Connect @ Benchling Jan 2022 – Jan 2024 | San Francisco, California, United States As part of the Automation & Analytics pillar at Benchling, I primarily worked in Lab Automation/Benchling Connect and Data Management product areas. In this role, I work closely with engineering and product managers to ensure we create the best possible UX for our users. I ran periodic user research initiatives and workshops with customers to gain a holistic understanding of important use cases. From these sessions, I contributed to product solutions and strategy which lead to the iterative design and final designs that were ultimately implemented by our engineering team. Throughout this process, I ran feedback sessions with our field team and with customers to identify additional gaps and opportunities. ### Senior Product Designer @ Conviva Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | Foster City, California, United States As a Senior Product Designer, I was responsible for scaling and maintaining the Conviva Design System. One of my key focuses was creating unity and cohesion among all of Conviva's Products. I also worked alongside engineering to create a central Conviva Platform.
