Although the most common practice for detecting when a patient is in need of surgery to prevent an aneurysm is through following the guideline of a specified diameter of the aorta, this value often falls short when predicting an aneurysm. Thus, the Tseng Lab focuses on creating biomechanical models and machine learning to predict the amount of stress on the aortic wall based upon the 3D geometry and wall thickness of a patient's aorta. ### Director of User Outreach and Research @ STRIA Technologies Jan 2018 – Jan 2021 Utility patented: [US 10,639,228] and FCC Approval In Progress [FCC0028555621] Winner of the SXSW EDU 2019 Student Startup Competition, AT&T Imagination.org Inventor’s Challenge 2018 Grace Hopper Incubator Prize, Jacobson Institute Innovator Competition 2019, General Motors Ashoka Changemaker Challenge 2019, Joey Kovacevich Social Innovation Fellowship 2019, Project Paradigm 2018 Runner-Up , Diamond Challenge 2018 Semi-Finalist, and Nueva Invention Studio Demo Day 2019. ## Education ### Bachelor of Science - BS in Computer Science, Certificate - Innovation & Entrepreneurship Duke University Jan 2020 – Jan 2024 ### The Nueva School Jan 2016 – Jan 2020 ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/megan-fong --- Source: https://flows.cv/meganfong JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/meganfong/resume.json Last updated: 2026-03-23
