I'm fascinated with all forms of storytelling and love a highly organized design project management. ## Work Experience ### Visual UI Designer @ Kaiser Permanente Jan 2018 – Present | Oakland, California Partnered with Senior UX designer to ideate and produce visual designs, animations, prototypes, presentations and deliverables for patient service mobile applications My KP Meds and My Doctor Online (iOS and Android). My primary focus on these mobile products has been to update styles & UI patterns for the Norcal tech savvy but also find ways to educate rather than alienate reticent adopters. I undertook the creation and organization of an atomic visual design system and documented UI patterns for multiple mobile apps. Jan 2011 – Jan 2011 | San Mateo Collaborated with product management team to redesign video discovery site and mobile app. Worked closely with the marketing/PR teams to produce marketing materials, presentations and content for pitch proposals to companies such as Twitter and MTV. ### Graphics and UI Designer @ SugarSync Jan 2007 – Jan 2010 | San Mateo, CA Initially worked closely with the marketing and PR team as a graphic design intern to create corporate site web content; design and build html emails incorporating data from Google analytics to drive revenues and paid subscriptions to our service. During this time, I collaborated with our creative lead in developing logo and product branding for our product SugarSync. I was responsible for Sharpcast corporate identity and collateral, product marketing, and presentation graphics (web, print and environmental). For the next two years at SugarSync, was sole in-house designer and collaborated on all creative assignments with every team. Duties expanded to include some product management; creating conceptual UI design for innovative syncing software product SugarSync. Includes clients for web and Window/ Mac computers; native iPhone, BlackBerry, Winmo, Android, iPad and netbook apps.
