The second design hire on the team, leading the user research and design process of key features in Summer’s product. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Data, Engineering, Business Development and Partnership teams to identify new opportunities, ways to improve the borrower experience, and refinements to existing features based on insights from research and data.
Conduct evaluative testing and work iteratively by making updates to launched features based on product performance and user feedback.
Led the design work for an internal Admin tool for Summer’s Borrower Success team to streamline their processes.
Set up and made improvements to Summer’s design system in Sketch and Storybook, working to improve the product’s accessibility.
Responsible for the design research, service design, and product design parts of programs while working on multidisciplinary teams.
Worked with a financial services client to redesign the financial advisor platform and healthcare client to redesign their member portals through user journeys and flows, common design language systems, high-fidelity screen designs, and detailed documentation.
As a design lead working on multi-disciplinary teams, I brought my skills in experience design, service design, strategy, and design research to build meaningful experiences and help companies make sense of complex problems.
