Developed semi-supervised intrusion detection algorithm for deployment on ORNL networks. Algorithm classifies traffic using generalized eigenvector features derived from original data. Outperforms alternative models, including a signature IDS tool deployed on the same network (Kyoto 2006+). (Java, Python)

Developed dimensionality reduction algorithm for clustering electron microscope data. Algorithm converts images into patches and trains multidimensional spectral hashing models for each patch. (Java)

Developed image registration algorithm to register electron microscope images, enabling more accurate estimation of local atomic properties. Eliminated up to 96% of false matches during SIFT feature matching and achieved 17% improvement in registration accuracy over reference method. (MATLAB)
