Melody Kim is a design leader and former founder with over a decade of experience working with early stage teams. Her expertise lies in guiding startups from concept to launch.

She most recently led design and consumer product at Local Kitchens and served as the Head of Design at Betteromics. She's also previously co-founded a YC-backed startup and has contributed to the development of new products at companies like Twitter, Coursera, Abbott and numerous YC startups.

I was involved in helping sell Betteromics to our earliest customers, designing the first versions of our products, establishing a design system & language, hiring engineers & building out our design team, crafting the Betteromics narrative, establishing the Betteromics brand etc.

Led a re-design of the main learning platform, increasing course completion rates by 2x (a top company metric). As one of the first product designers on the learning experience team, I also helped re-design other key products like course forums, facilitated learning and more.
