Ever since I played my first puzzle game I knew I loved problem-solving. I found that every time I finished a puzzle I got this feeling that nothing else could give me. It’s this same feeling that I get every time I finish a coding project, assignment, or even just fixing a programming bug. It’s this love of problem-solving that fuels my enthusiasm for this industry.

I have extensive experience working in team environments, leveraging my strong communication skills to take leadership roles as opportunities have been presented. I can’t remember a time when I haven’t been working as part of a team. Key highlights include:
•	Worked as a shift manager at Subway restaurant.
•	Co-captain of my high school Mock Trial team.
•	Captain of my high school robotics team.

My technical experience has come from a mixture of classwork, self-study, and reading. Through these avenues I have acquired the following skills.
•	Proficient in C.
•	Proficient in C++.
•	Proficient in Python.
•	Proficient in JavaScript.
•	Proficient in Java.
•	Extensive experience working with HTML and CSS for web applications.
•	Experienced with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit.
•	Extensive experience with Git and Github.

My goal is to work on projects where I can both apply what I’ve learned and learn to innovate better approaches to problem-solving and project development. I look forward to the opportunity to tackle new and exciting challenges in a team environment where I can continue to share my enthusiasm for problem-solving and teamwork.
