◆ Built an analytics pipeline on AWS (CloudFront, Kinesis, Glue, Redshift) that ingests and redirects millions of daily QR code scans at the edge with sub-100 ms redirection latency.
◆ Led reduction of tens of thousands of lines of front-end code by 60-90% to fix errors and improve maintainability of product and administrative pages. Used best up-to-date libraries and coding practices. Created dedicated Apollo GraphQL server with schema stitching. Adopted Relay client framework for features such as query batching, caching, optimistic updates, conventions reducing boilerplate code, etc.
◆ Improved consumer engagement as much as 900% for mobile advertisers for many popular consumer product brands by creating compelling QR codes. Designed a workflow to create QR codes with the following requirements: multiple image formats (SVG/PDF/EPS/raster), color modes (RGB/CMYK/grayscale), custom eye/module shapes, color gradients, logos with fading contoured margins, background image or random background modules framed within a polygonal/custom shape, automatic fitting of QR code within the largest empty space of a background image, text paths, barcode width reduction, etc.
◆ Reduced time to onboard large volumes of customer product/brand data (from S3) and to generate product landing pages by >90% for legacy systems in Java/Spring and Groovy/Grails.
◆ Facilitated understanding of AI and adoption of AI coding tools. Discussed many aspects of AI: current research, foundation model and neural network architectures, tokenization/embeddings, model training/fine-tuning/alignment, open/frontier model benchmarks and comparisons, remote/local deployment solutions for inference, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, vector databases, agents, safety/security/vulnerabilities, societal impact, etc.
