Automated calculations and recording of fermentation experiment KPIs as part of an Airflow DAG utilized by multiple teams in the analysis of experimental changes saving 5 FTE hours per week.
Prototyped a new UI feature request using Balsamiq, presented the workflow to end users, implemented design feedback to the prototype and built out the UI, helping adoption of the service for 2 programs
Implemented new modals and forms with validation utilizing React and Typescript as well as the corresponding unit tests to ensure their long term functionality
Improved the UX of a Jupyter Notebooks by implementing dropdown filtering and displayed the current application environment a user is in to prevent accidental changes in our production environment
Developed unit, integration, and UI tests for new features I implemented, areas where tests were absent, and fixed broken tests after changes to a repository resulting in a more robust application

Setup, run and troubleshoot bench scale fermentation bioreactors for strain improvements and collaborated with other departments to execute process development experiments. Analyzed weekly fermentation run data using JMP and Excel to generate KPIs used in determining strain promotion. I also cross-trained new hires on various projects and best practices within the Fermentation lab.
