◆ Led and worked on a 2 quarter-long 3 person project to implement an experiment taxonomy & create a new, customer journey aligned, experiment wizard interface in React, eliminating 20+ experiment tracking spreadsheets and centralizing experiment institutional knowledge
◆ Designed and implemented GraphQL queries/mutations and resolvers for experiment taxonomy metadata R/W and an extensible mySQL data model to support 10+ quarterly changes on average to required metadata collection
◆ Enabled team knowledge sharing through artifacts including 4 technical design documents, a new team bug bash process doc, and a migration planning document with LoE estimates
◆ Supported a migration from a Scala REST API to a Node.js GraphQL API, resulting in a 99% decrease in build time and a 150% dev velocity increase
◆ Mentored and supported an intern over a 12 week period with a project to sort over 15,000 experiments by impact to the most important company metrics, using BigQuery as a new backend datasource and Elasticsearch for search
◆ Served on-call debugging prod issues with ETL pipelines and the experiment dashboard, answering hundreds of customer questions about A/B testing, and leading 2 successful postmortems
