Worked on a large-scale healthcare supply chain and Lab Information System (LIS) platform supporting clinical test ordering, specimen logistics, laboratory processing, and result delivery. The system served both internal lab operations and external physician/patient portals, built on a cloud-native microservices architecture integrating multiple backend services and distributed databases. Operating in a regulated healthcare environment, the platform emphasized high standards for data accuracy, traceability, availability, and low latency while ensuring consistency across services through careful data modeling and transactional design.
● Designed and implemented Java-based backend microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, following clear controller–service–repository layering.
● Implemented event-driven communication using Kafka for asynchronous processing of test order events and result notifications, improving system decoupling and scalability.
● Built and enhanced React-based frontend components and internal dashboards, integrating with backend APIs to support laboratory operations and physician/patient portal workflows.

Worked on large-scale retail and e-commerce platforms at Tesco, supporting high-volume online ordering, inventory management, and supply chain operations across multiple distribution centers and stores. The platform served both customer-facing applications and internal operational tools, handling high traffic during peak shopping periods. Built on a cloud-native microservices architecture using Java and Spring Boot, the system leveraged distributed data stores including Cassandra to support highly scalable, low-latency data access across services.
● Designed and developed Java-based backend microservices using Spring Boot, following a clear controller–service–repository architecture to support order processing, inventory tracking, and fulfillment workflows.
● Built and maintained RESTful APIs for product availability, order status, and inventory updates, supporting high-volume requests from web and mobile e-commerce platforms.
● Implemented Apache Cassandra as a distributed data store for high-throughput inventory and order event data, designing partition keys and data models optimized for large-scale read/write workloads.

Worked on backend systems supporting Xunlei’s content platform, enabling large-scale content distribution, metadata management, and internal operational workflows. The platform supported high volumes of user interactions while ensuring reliable and responsive services for content browsing and engagement. The system integrated backend services, caching mechanisms, and database optimizations to maintain performance and stability. In addition to user-facing functionality, internal tools were developed to support content operations, monitoring, and platform management across multiple teams.
