Achieved a 90% user adoption rate and increased daily active alerts users by 10%. Played a key role in engineering and designing the backend, collaborating with team members in their respective roles.

- Architected a seamless migration for the Twitch Badges service, handling 50K+ transactions/sec with zero downtime.

- Collaborated with engineers and designers to launch Twitch Chat Highlights, a feature that is available to all broadcasters and moderators that allows chat messages to be highlighted, improving moderation and community engagement; Developed and implemented the new API server and the frontend user interface

-Mentored an intern who built a Twitch Badges internal tool that allows marketing campaigns to grant participating user badges, increasing efficiency for marketing and reducing the engineering team's workload

- Contributed to the launch of Community Moments by equipping the new service to handle substantial bursts of traffic(100K+ TPS) using SQS, EC2, and Redis cache

- Facilitated productive backlog meetings for the team, ensuring effective task prioritization, managing external requests, and optimizing resource allocation; Instrumental in reducing the team's backlog size by more than half, leading to significant improvements in performance and availability across multiple services

### Software Engineer Intern @ Microsoft

• Developed and deployed the Flight Fact Table (FFT) data pipeline which handles ~100k requests per day using cloud-based technologies such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Service Fabric as part of the publishing service team.
• Contributed to the team’s software architecture by developing scalable microservices, such as an Azure Data Lake Service which daily sends up to 400MB of FFT data concurrently to Azure Data Lake.
• Integrated and configured Azure Data Factory to run U-SQL scripts as part of the FFT data pipeline to
automate the transfer and parsing of data between Azure Data Lake streams so that the data is
accurate and readily available for the 5 teams who benefit from publishing service’s FFT data.
• The new data pipeline discontinued a legacy Autopilot machine and other legacy technologies which
cut costs by $20,000 annually.

### Technology Analyst Intern @ Citi

• Developed a web application that visualizes the team’s software infrastructure that
consists of up to 15 different API’s, micro-services, and databases using Javacript
and .NET.
• Took ownership of an existing Java web application that is being used by 9 different
HR and Technology teams. Implemented a platform for Excel workbooks to be
managed, edited, and allows managers to assign tasks to their team.
• Brought in contributions to the team’s UI application for over 25 Prime Finance
Traders by designing new interfaces, accelerating efficiency, and assisted in
advancing the application to production.
