Design Producer & QA Lead for UCSC’s Game Design Association (GDA), supporting a 220+ member org and managing a 30+ person design department. I plan and run design production by building meeting schedules, setting agendas, and creating briefing slides to align designers on goals, systems, and next steps. I author and maintain living design documentation (templates, specs, and workflows), and also contribute directly to unfinished design work—including in-engine greyboxing, implementing layout prototypes, and completing/iterating design docs.
As a cross-functional producer, I coordinate communication between design, programming, art, and other departments to ensure the team stays aligned on project vision, priorities, and system requirements. I also lead QA by organizing playtests, developing/maintaining a bug reporting pipeline (including a new bug report sheet for programmers), triaging issues with the QA team, and reporting actionable findings back to the dev team. In addition, I support pre-production planning by mapping milestones, dependencies, and resource needs to keep the project on track.
