Previously, I worked on skill-based gambling and social casino games for WorldWinner/FanDuel. ### Aerospace: Unity, UX,UI & VR @ Slingshot Aerospace Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 I was the lead designer for Lab, allowing instructors to create educational simulations in Earth’s orbit. It features an interactive timeline showing bookmark events and creates shared narrative vignettes. - Crafting multi-player orbital warfare simulations that enhance US Space Force, NASA, 533rd and NSSI training. That allows collaborative sessions in both VR/AR and browsers. Using React/ThreeJS/Unity to create the experiences. - Leader of a cross discipline product team. Directing the product and visual design. While working with product managers to achieve customer goals and metrics - Working with subject matter experts to make complex orbital mechanics easy to teach and understand. ### UX, UI and Art Lead @ Tilting Point Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 Worked on Cypher 007 - A James Bond Apple Arcade title. - Managed and mentored the internal UI/UX team. - Crafted the visual style for the UI, incorporating iconography, typography, and animation. - Developed streamlined UI elements and code using the Unity UI Toolkit. - Designed thematic game elements, including sound, NPCs, and tutorials. ### AR and VR projects for HoloLens and Oculus @ Enklu Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 AR/VR experiences developed with Enklu's Visual Studio aren't deployed; instead, they are instantly available via a shareable QR code. I designed user experiences and served as the lead designer for Visual Studio, enabling users to generate content. - Designed HoloLens and Oculus projects for various clients, including Sprint and LinkedIn. - Designed visual and voice programming tools for XR creation. - Developed intuitive gaze and hand-based visual manipulation tools. - Produced award-winning interactive content for booths at MWC 2019 and CES 2020. ### HRI Director ( Robots for children ) @ Huawei Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 Huawei has unveiled its first educational robot, an AI-equipped solution perfect for the little ones. - Led the production of AI, character, interactions, industrial design, and sequencing for a children’s consumer-facing robotics product. - Employed a character-driven design approach that influenced the industrial design and hardware. Directed various creatives across 3D, ID, story, animation, fabrication, sound, and voice. - Contributed to R&D prototypes involving projection & AR mixed with robot interaction. ### Lead Robot & HRI Designer @ Bosch Jan 2016 – Jan 2018 Kuri was a robot that featured a combination of audio and visual elements to engage with families. She could play music, capture photos and videos, and share those memories with the family. - Designed Kuri’s character, personality, voice, and emotional qualities. - Managed external art/sound resources to produce Kuri’s robot performances. - Crafted and storyboarded Kuri’s human-robot interactions. - Shipped Kuri in December 2017. ### VR Designer & Developer @ Boon VR Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 Boon's cloud-based platform offers on-demand VR training for medical procedures. - Secured funding rounds by prototyping training scenarios for surgical teams using Unity C#, demonstrated on Oculus VR devices. - Developed an LMS-driven team multiplayer approach for efficient coursework. - Utilized character-driven content to enhance the comprehensibility of the coursework. ### Lead Designer @ Wonder Workshop Jan 2015 – Jan 2016 Wonder Workshop's Dash & Dot is an exciting robotics platform that teaches children to code. Dash & Dot were extremely successful, selling out for their launch during Christmas. They won the 2015 Housekeeping 'Toy of The Year' award and are available for purchase in popular retail locations such as the Apple Store. I designed and developed Wonder, an app that helped children learn how to program the robot with a visual tool. They could also share their programs with other children. -Conceptualized and designed hardware prototypes for robots and accessories. -Revamped the product packaging to improve the unboxing experience, include educational helpers, and reduce costs. ### Lead UX & UI Designer @ Wargaming Jan 2014 – Jan 2015 I served as the Lead UX & UI designer for a new game inspired by World of Tanks. While the game prototype wasn't released, it elevated WOT action to new dimensions and introduced a completely new type of multiplayer combat. - Managed and mentored the internal UI/UX team and external art and sound contractors. - Crafted the visual style for the UI, including iconography, typography, and animation, and applied it across the game to ensure consistency. - Developed vehicle archetypes, hero moments, and backstory. ### Lead Designer @ Anki Jan 2012 – Jan 2015 Anki was a robotics startup known for creating consumer-oriented robotic products, including popular items like Cozmo, a small robot with artificial intelligence capabilities, and Anki Overdrive, a robotic car racing game. - Led art, design, avatars, commanders, and the overall user experience across products. - Prototyped and designed Anki's robot apps for Apple and Android phones and tablets. - Produced packaging and marketing content and designs. - Conceptualized hardware concepts to enhance the robot experiences. - Developed onboarding product experiences and conducted user research for continuous improvement. - Designed and developed the Anki Drive experience showcased in Apple's 2013 keynote. ### Lead Designer @ Zynga Jan 2012 – Jan 2012 "The Ville" was a social simulation and life-simulation game developed by Zynga.
