# Michelle Amaris > MultiDisciplinary Designer | Baker Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/michelleamaris I am a multi-disciplinary designer with a passion for baking. I find creative, beautiful, empathetic, and playful solutions to interesting design problems. I enjoy working in different mediums to craft user experiences, from brand identity conceptualization to print and digital media. I believe a beautiful design needs to be functional as well. Good design is a language, a tool that can help communicate feelings and vision. My previous experience working in architecture has taught me to approach my work intentionally, with a critical eye for detail and follow-through. I design and build physical and digital spaces that are navigable, accessible, and delightful. I carry the principles of the iterative design process and design thinking in everything I do, including baking and cooking. When I'm not working, you can find me developing recipes, scoring bread, and trying new bakeries and restaurants. ## Work Experience ### Job Captain @ dsk architects Jan 2025 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area ### Pastry Chef @ Alimentari Aurora Jan 2024 – Present | San Francisco, California, United States ### Product Designer @ Sunday Bakeshop LLC Jan 2023 – Jan 2024 | San Francisco, California, United States - My role involved working directly for Neighbor Bakehouse and Sunday Bakeshop - Architected a comprehensive brand identity and investor narrative for a new brand, including creating high-impact investor pitch decks and strategic brand direction - Created designs and processes that could be easily replicated by team members to produce at scale - Led a team to execute projects and meet tight deadlines - Designed branding, packaging, specials, and graphics assets for production, print, and for social media - Guided customer experience through a range of touchpoints, including in-person, web, and mobile - Managed customer-facing platforms including social media ### R&D Lead/Product Designer @ EQUII Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | San Francisco Bay Area - Founding employee; my role was at Cella Farms, now EQUII - Research and Development lead, developing high-protein bread and other product SKUs - Developed the foundational product formulation and flagship recipe that served as the launchpad for the company's entire product line - Conceptualized, prototyped, and refined recipes on the bench and for at-scale manufacturing - Developed branding for the company including logo, colors, and brand voice - Spearheaded immersive product showcases for investors and curated strategic tasting experiences for the general public investors - Executed large-scale public brand activations, increasing brand awareness and collecting consumer feedback ### Product Designer @ AI LA Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | Los Angeles, California, United States - Developed brand style guide and refined the brand voice, communication, colors, and fonts for AI LA, a non-profit that supports the research, development, and application of AI and other related topics. - Conducted user research to define and design a high-fidelity web application to connect students, professionals, and enthusiasts with the AI LA community. ### Project Associate @ KTGY Architecture + Planning Jan 2018 – Jan 2021 | Oakland, California, United States ### Extern @ Woods Bagot Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | San Francisco, California ### Architectural Intern @ INTERSTICE Architects Jan 2015 – Jan 2016 | San Francisco, California ### Structural Engineering Intern @ San Francisco Public Utilities Commission Jan 2012 – Jan 2012 | San Francisco, California ## Education ### Bachelor of Architecture - BArch in Architecture California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo ### User Experience Design Immersive General Assembly ### High School Diploma Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/michelle-amaris - Website: https://www.michelleamaris.com --- Source: https://flows.cv/michelleamaris JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/michelleamaris/resume.json Last updated: 2026-04-05
