FEST is the result of years of passionate work within the festival industry. My idea was to build the next Spotify of festival apps where any festival could engage with their public, no matter their size or budget.

Today, most festivals build their own mobile app with the help of an external agency or specialized agencies. This often results in fast, low-quality disposable apps that don't offer the best experience to festival-goers and are fairly expensive to festivals. I wanted to change that. With FEST, all the festivals live under a single mobile app that people keep on their phones to stay in touch with their favorite festivals all year long. They don't miss any important announcement like lineup reveals anymore and they're offered the best user experience on-site.

To achieve this, we set up our business model to a low price license-based one. Our clients (festivals) pay a prime to be part of FEST and in exchange, they don't have to worry about developing and maintaining a mobile app themselves, and their users are happier than ever.

Today, I have left this project in the hands of my former business partner, but I still strongly believe in this idea and where it can go.

As part of this journey, I have:

- Lead the technical, product and design vision of the company
- Designed the products and brand from A to Z
- Developed a mobile app from the ground up, learning React Native on the way
- Created and maintained custom API endpoints with the help of Strapi + Node.js
- Built a CMS platform for our clients using Svelte
- Managed the full cycle of DevOps & infrastructure
