I'm a software engineer with a history of working in the health care industry. Currently, I'm focused on data engineering, involving things like: ingesting data, database stability and scalability, optimizing queries.

I love learning new things, both at work and in my free time. At work, I'm enjoying learning more about Spark / PySpark. At home, I'm building a ray tracer using CUDA (which basically lets you run C++ programs on your GPU); I also enjoy writing Rust (I've gone through Ray Tracing in One Weekend in Rust, and also built a toy programming language), and low-level C (I've built an operating system kernel with networking support, userspace processes, filesystem support, and more)
