Working in the ag-tech space to help make a farm implement that shoots weeds with lasers as an alternate to herbicides.
Ops Center:
// wireframing, Figma, React, TS, golang, SQL
Designed, architected, and built the customer facing side of our "Plant Profiles" feature which allows farmers to classify plants by clicking on pictures. (Before they had an extremely limited ability to influence the model's behavior). Supported multi-client editing (as well as offline robots), full history, and the ability to preview the AI model's decisions before deploying to the field.
AutoTractor:
// design, Figma, React, TS, WebRTC
Designed and implemented an interface for remote driving tractors. This includes customizable views of live video cameras and keyboard controls for driving.
ML Internal Tooling:
// user interviews, wireframing, Figma, React, TS, python
Designed and fully implemented a UI for our custom labeling tool used every day by our remote labeling team (saw a 48.85% labeling speed improvement due to UX improvements alone)
Designed and built label and ML pipeline analysis tools to help our ML folks experiment to improve our models

AI Nonprofit space to helping to make AI research accessible to the public.
Worked on a variety of research paper demo apps.
Expanded and maintained internal tools that allowed researchers to easily create and host their own demos when they felt inclined
Created internal infrastructure to keep track of publications and datasets
Supported internal tools that researchers used to perform experiments

Health care industry supporting remote patient monitoring solutions.
Supported the core product.
Extras: on-call rotations, debugging hardware device logs, and setting up JIRA instances for the team.

Working on robotics, IoT, creating intuitive software, and expanding the edges of the definition of full-stack development.
Projects:
1. Autonomous Robotic Air Hockey Table
I acted as the overall UI/UX designer and Interactive Software Developer.
I designed the overall game experience as well as all digital screens, sounds, and lighting aspects of the game. I developed interactive software across 3 separate languages and frameworks including Angular ( Typescript), ROS (Python), and Arduino (~cpp) for the screens, robotic API, and lights/goals hardware integrations respectively. I packaged and deployed the system utilizing Docker and custom kiosk configurations. Extra miscellaneous tasks included soldering & multimeter debugging.
2. A Corporate React Design Library
I acted as the team lead and collaborated with the client's development team as well as their designers to help unify the company's design system. We leveraged libraries such as React Material UI, Recharts.js, among others, and added PWA support.
3. ROS Over the Air Updates
I designed and implemented early prototypes for a custom OTA update strategy for robots using the ROS framework.

Working on a diverse array of awesome projects ranging from Angular application development, Raspberry Pi computer vision, and an autonomous vehicle interfacing React Electron app.
Projects:
1. United Rentals Autonomous Vehicles
I acted as the Dev Lead, Technical Architect, intermittent Project Manager, and Scrum Master on a team of 6 developers to create a cross-platform desktop application that interfaced with autonomous construction vehicles. The application communicated with and monitored vehicles (primarily Bobcats), mapped sites, and planned vehicle routes. Primary technologies that were used include Electron, Node.js, React, Redux, GraphQL, and Openlayers maps. This project required learning mapping and basic GIS skills to be able to communicate effectively with surveyors and translate measurements onto performant maps within the application.
2. United Rentals Robotic Indoor Positioning System
I collaborated on a custom indoor positioning system that relies on computer vision utilizing python, openCV, and raspberry pi -- ultimately achieving positional accuracy within 2cm.
3. Epiq TMX
I worked on a team to create an Angular web app that helps organize and annotate legal documents. I developed extended online PDF functionality including note-taking, highlighting, overlays, and the ability to link phrases between multiple PDFs.
