Ops Center: // wireframing, Figma, React, TS, golang, SQL - Designed, architected, and built the customer facing side of our "Plant Profiles" feature which allows farmers to classify plants by clicking on pictures. (Before they had an extremely limited ability to influence the model's behavior). Supported multi-client editing (as well as offline robots), full history, and the ability to preview the AI model's decisions before deploying to the field. Projects: 1. Autonomous Robotic Air Hockey Table I acted as the overall UI/UX designer and Interactive Software Developer. I designed the overall game experience as well as all digital screens, sounds, and lighting aspects of the game. I developed interactive software across 3 separate languages and frameworks including Angular ( Typescript), ROS (Python), and Arduino (~cpp) for the screens, robotic API, and lights/goals hardware integrations respectively. I packaged and deployed the system utilizing Docker and custom kiosk configurations. Extra miscellaneous tasks included soldering & multimeter debugging. 2. A Corporate React Design Library I acted as the team lead and collaborated with the client's development team as well as their designers to help unify the company's design system. We leveraged libraries such as React Material UI, Recharts.js, among others, and added PWA support. 3. ROS Over the Air Updates I designed and implemented early prototypes for a custom OTA update strategy for robots using the ROS framework. ### Full Stack Developer @ Fresh Consulting Jan 2017 โ€“ Jan 2019 | Greater Seattle Area Working on a diverse array of awesome projects ranging from Angular application development, Raspberry Pi computer vision, and an autonomous vehicle interfacing React Electron app. Projects: 1. United Rentals Autonomous Vehicles I acted as the Dev Lead, Technical Architect, intermittent Project Manager, and Scrum Master on a team of 6 developers to create a cross-platform desktop application that interfaced with autonomous construction vehicles. The application communicated with and monitored vehicles (primarily Bobcats), mapped sites, and planned vehicle routes. Primary technologies that were used include Electron, Node.js, React, Redux, GraphQL, and Openlayers maps. This project required learning mapping and basic GIS skills to be able to communicate effectively with surveyors and translate measurements onto performant maps within the application. 2. United Rentals Robotic Indoor Positioning System I collaborated on a custom indoor positioning system that relies on computer vision utilizing python, openCV, and raspberry pi -- ultimately achieving positional accuracy within 2cm. 3. Epiq TMX I worked on a team to create an Angular web app that helps organize and annotate legal documents. I developed extended online PDF functionality including note-taking, highlighting, overlays, and the ability to link phrases between multiple PDFs. ### Associate Consultant Software Developer @ HMB Jan 2016 โ€“ Jan 2017 | Columbus, Ohio Area My role involved full-stack development as a consultant for a variety of clients. Within my teams, I was known for my knowledge of AngularJS, front end engineering skills, web design, and understanding of UX. Projects: 1. The Ohio Treasury I worked on a team to create an AngularJS/C# web application to support government-bank relations. I participated in DB design, writing SQL scripts, and implementing Entity Framework Code-First database creation. I also helped to create the C# Web API as well the AngularJS front-end that utilized Bootstrap and Kendo UI. I personally led the team in setting Angular best practice patterns and designed custom UI elements. I also set up the project's SASS framework, gulp auto-watches, and file structure. 2. McGraw Hill Education I participated in a team to add new improvement features to an internal .NET / Angular application by writing SQL Stored Procedures and implementing a higher performance Angular grid system using Ag-Grid. 3.
