As the starting faculty for UC Berkeley Extension’s User Experience Design Program, researched, designed and teach the foundational course – “Introduction to UX Design”. The perennially waitlisted course, with NPS of 73, focusses on end-to-end design thinking, user centered design process and the importance of design & business alignment.

Part of Western Union’s Product Leadership team. Responsible for Design (UX/UI), Research, Content, Design Ops, and CX functions globally serving 150 million customers across 200 countries with a 130-currency portfolio. I lead a large multi-disciplinary team spread across 6 global locations delivering Digital Consumer (web, mobile web, app), Retail Agent (600,000+ POS), Platform, Omnichannel, and Partner experiences.

The Product Design/UX organization is helping deliver Western Union’s Evolve 2025 vision with focus on delivering strategic priorities including Digital first customer experiences, Retail to digital conversion, Improved customer and agent omni-channel experiences, and Increased self-service for customers and agents. Our focus on crafting and delivering customer-centric experiences over the last year is paying dividends driving 21% digital new customer and 11% digital transaction growth in Q1 2023. In addition, our focus on omnichannel experiences is helping us reengage with lapsed customers resulting in 2X more transactions post re-engagement.

BOLD addresses the needs of over 60 million job seekers across 100 countries through its career development platforms including LiveCareer™, MyPerfectResume™, ResumeNow™, and Zety™. I led UX, Research, and Content teams focused on Subscriptions, Payments, User Retention, and Personalization to drive design strategy, product vision, roadmap, and execution. The team delivered data-driven iterative design improvements impacting KPIs like Conversion Rate, Lifetime Value, Trial Conversions, and uplift through sell page redesign across 15 different localized web and mobile experiences.

I led a talented team of product designers who made it easy and fun for customers to shop on Macys.com - the #1 Fashion and Apparel website in the world. I was responsible for all ecommerce up-funnel experience (discovery & selection, search, personalization, monetization) on web and mobile interfaces in addition to leading Macys.com redesign effort.

I am especially proud of building & inspiring a high-performing team, delivering business impact, elevating the craft, instituting design systems & processes, and delivering award winning designs.

As a design leader in McAfee, I led design teams (in-house, agencies, & partners) in crafting design strategy and driving projects from concept-to-launch-to-continuous optimization in Mobile, Wearables, Consumer Electronics, Monetization, IA, and IoT areas. Responsible for managing ‘lights on’ design effort for McAfee Mobile Security (MMS) and complete hands-on redesign of the app on Android and iOS platforms.
