Ghostman ASL Tutor - Designed an iPad app to help people learn the American Sign Language (ASL) and also use gesture recognition to communicate with people who are ASL signers. Won best final project award.
• Created a flipbook prototype of the iPad app
• Created persona, storyboards, task analysis and task flow charts
• Conducted survey and usability tests for user research
Cherish: The Family Connector - Conceptualized and designed a family networking website that helps people connect with their families and allows them to preserve memories, stories and life events.
• Developed a hi-fi prototype in HTML.
• Used ideation, affinity diagrams, personas and paper prototyping to arrive at design solution
• Conducted surveys, contextual inquiries and usability tests for user research.
Project Management: Designed a project plan to organize a cyber security competition as well as its pre-event and post-event activities. The project involved creating a work breakdown structure, project schedule and doing a risk analysis

Ghostman for Physical therapy (Prof. Tom Furness):
Ghostman aids therapists in administering physical therapy exercises to patients who live in remote locations.
• Led the UX team for the research project
• Designed interview questionnaires for user research
• Conducted interviews with therapists and patients
• Performed literature research on technologies that may be involved in building the Ghostman.
IMUT: Interfaces That Make Us Think (Prof. Julie Kientz)
Exploring technologies that encourage cognitive thinking in people of all ages.
• Developed concepts for designing new interfaces that promote brain fitness.
• Developed storyboards of proposed concepts
• Built a survey to understand what types of interfaces are most likely to be successful.
• Analyzed survey results and contributed to research paper
• Created a poster for a research symposium
