# Mohameth Seck > Associate Software Engineer @ Travelers Location: New York City Metropolitan Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/mohameth I am a software engineer and self-taught inventor with a passion for building, design, and technology. Committed to pushing the boundaries of technology and empowering others, I bring creativity and technical expertise to every project. Currently, I am part of the Engineering Development Program (EDP) at Travelers, honing my technical and leadership skills through hands-on experience, immersive learning, and mentorship. This program allows me to explore multiple programming languages and technologies, contributing to diverse and impactful projects. Previously, I served as a Senior Educator at District Arts & Education (DAE) for three years, building curriculum and teaching hundreds of high school students in New Haven, Stamford, and Norwalk. I created comprehensive course content, including an IoT program using Arduinos and a game development track with Unity. I also improved our Web Development course, enabling students to build numerous websites and web applications. Teaching young people through computer science and STEM was an amazing adventure, and I am proud of the legacy I left. Giving back to my community in New Haven County and contributing to Synchrony’s Skills Academy in Stamford, CT, were some of my most memorable moments. The students' eagerness to learn and dedication were a constant source of motivation for me. My time at DAE will always be a part of me, and I am grateful for the opportunity to inspire and educate the youth. My professional journey includes internships at Gathr and Incluvie, where I gained experience in mobile app development, frontend design, full-stack development, and SEO. At Gathr, I worked on a social events app using Flutter and Dart, and at Incluvie, I contributed to enhancing diversity in film production through innovative web solutions. I hold a certification in Full-Stack Software Engineering from Holberton School and have completed coursework in Computer Engineering at the University of Hartford. My technical skills span HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Git/GitHub, Linux Command Line, Bootstrap, jQuery, C, Python, and Figma. In addition to my professional work, I am building a solo indie software development studio, focusing on monetizing my ideas and creating innovative applications. My ultimate dream is to create a campus in Senegal, West Africa, where young Senegalese can build their ideas and pursue their dreams. I aim to achieve financial independence by building innovative applications and establishing a successful solo software development studio with substantial monthly recurring revenue (MRR). ## Work Experience ### Associate Software Engineer @ Travelers Jan 2025 – Present | Hartford, Connecticut, United States ### Software Engineer - Engineering Development Program (EDP) @ Travelers Jan 2024 – Jan 2025 | Hartford, Connecticut, United States ### Founder & Software Developer @ MoStudios Jan 2024 – Present | Nomad Engineer ### Senior Educator, Software Engineering @ dae Jan 2022 – Jan 2024 | New Haven, Connecticut, United States - Overseen the curriculum across our New Haven and Stamford campuses - Led an advanced program for second-year students, enhancing their CS skills with Next.js, MongoDB, React.js, APIs, React Native and game development.
