As a CS198 Coordinator, I work with my two co-Coordinators to ensure the 100+ active Section Leaders for Stanford's introductory CS classes have what they need to be successful. In addition to providing administrative and logistic support, Coordinators have the amazing experience of interviewing, hiring, and training each new cohort of Section Leaders.
Section Leaders ("SLs") are primarily responsible for teaching a weekly CS106 section, typically containing between 8 and 12 students. In addition, they are responsible for attending lectures and weekly staff meetings, grading student assignments, and holding Interactive Grading ("IG") with each student.
I also had an involvement role as a CS100A course helper. I would help students work through coding exercises during the problem solving portion of the class and host additional office hours on weekends.
