My work has focused on building and refining core BI features such as hierarchies and transpose, as well as developing Data App Builder capabilities in Sigma, including contributing to the Forms feature. ### Dean's Outreach Influencer @ Center for K12 STEM Education at NYU Tandon School Jan 2022 – Jan 2024 | New York, New York, United States My role is to conduct research to identify K-12 schools and organizations in NYC that cater to underrepresented students in STEM. My second role is to reach out to the schools identifies and present to their students some of the opportunity programs offered by NYU. ### Software Engineer Intern @ Sigma Computing Jan 2023 – Jan 2023 | New York, United States This summer I am a front-end SWE intern at Sigma Computing, working as part of the growth team. Although it is my first time working with a React-based website, I was able to comprehend the foreign codebase and I began merging pull requests to the product by the end of my first week. For my Intern Project, I was tasked to add a feature that generates table descriptions via AI. I used the OpenAI API’s gpt-3.5-turbo model and was able to generate a concise and accurate description passing in the metadata of the table into the prompt. ### PWC Start Intern - Technology Risk Consultant @ PwC Jan 2022 – Jan 2022 | San Francisco, California, United States The internship was 7 weeks long in the PWC San Francisco Office. I worked on a pro bono project by wrangling, analyzing, and visualizing data on Alteryx and Tableau. I also completed a case interview at the end of the interview. ### Coding TA @ Prep4Prep Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 | New York, New York, United States I worked as a TA for Prep for Prep’s Institute for Entrepreneurship (IFE). IFE is a five-week intensive summer program for high school students of color focusing on technology and business.
