Providing NREL's Energy Storage and Conversion Systems Center Director input on hydrogen strategy and business development priorities to accommodate the growing importance for hydrogen technologies in widespread decarbonization. Focus is on cross-cut activities and further strengthening external relationships. Additional responsibilities include exploring and increasing the role of cryogenic hydrogen research capabilities and portfolio of expertise at NREL.

Hydrogen Program Manager for ZeroAvia. Managed hydrogen permitting applications for onsite production and worked with the infrastructure across multiple time-zones and locations to ensure alignment towards goals.

Exploring high flow liquid hydrogen transfers for aviation, trucking, and more: novel light weight storage, with limited to "no purge" fueling equipment and connections.

Hydrogen Program Manager developing long term plan for hydrogen supply and fueling propulsion systems across multiple airfield sites. Efforts included funding feasibility studies for novel hydrogen storage systems, and procuring fuel cells from small prototypes to long term multi MW systems and working with EPCs to plan infrastructure for testing and first flights. Lead a small team of engineers under the direction of the CTO to derisk new technologies and provided periodic Board updates on the progress of efforts towards decarboinzed flight in airships.
