# Moriah Rahamim > Software Engineer Location: Seattle, Washington, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/moriah Full-stack software engineer and former product manager, with strong web development, product design, and leadership experience. I'm always excited to learn about teams or businesses whose goals are explicitly aligned with social/racial/environmental justice. If your core focus is to make the world more just, equitable, or carbon-neutral, let's talk! When I'm not building software, I can be found rock climbing, bicycling, meditating, hiking, backpacking, and amassing a delightful collection of looseleaf teas. Now for the technical stuff: I have a special love for diving into novel problem spaces to solve real-world problems through innovation. I value modular, scalable software that can be optimized and tested to achieve peak performance. I've most recently used full-stack TypeScript or JavaScript with Node.js/Express on the backend to create RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures (SOA) with microservices, and React for dynamic frontend views. I have experience with Postgres and Redis to manage data storage and caching, Python for data pipeline tooling, AWS for hosting and Amazon's Simple Queue Service (SQS). Most importantly, I love learning new technologies. Full-stack engineering fuels my drive to get my hands dirty and hit the ground running on any project, by understanding and fine-tuning how all the pieces fit together most smoothly for a seamless system. In a prior life as a product manager I owned a development pipeline on an agile team with a rapid sprint cycle, and interfaced with users and business stakeholders to create software solutions for our customers. As a developer, I draw on this leadership and technical experience to excel in collaborative teams and build scalable, beautiful applications that solve exciting problems. Feel free to reach out to chat about tech, tea, the outdoors, or just to say hello! ## Work Experience ### Senior Software Engineer @ Figma Jan 2024 – Present | Seattle, Washington, United States ### Staff Software Engineer @ Gusto Jan 2023 – Jan 2024 • Acted as tech lead for core payroll API workstream, one of Gusto’s most risky and critical tech domains.
