Cognizant’s Cloud360 management platform acts as an overlay on private, public and hybrid IT infrastructure components, including legacy assets. Cloud360, a Cognizant BusinessCloud, provides a single pane of glass to provision, monitor, charge-back, analyze and optimize cloud applications and infrastructures, which is called hyper platform.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Quality Assurance on every Cloud360 build.

• Perform Analysis and Design of Test Cases used in the Testing.

• Setup Cloud configurations for Cloud360 testing.

• Design and Develop the environment based on customer requirement.

• Work on newly implemented functionalities of Cloud360 and sharing the knowledge with the team members by having the technical presentations on various topics.

• iSCSI Management

• vCenter setup to manage, monitor and maintain virtualization layer.

• Design and develop test cases, test plans and execute them.

• Build separate and isolated environment for Development activity.

• VMware/ESX certification for few of the customers.

• Debug the internal dev/qa/demo issues.

• Assist the development team in recreating the issues and verify the bug fixes; debugging customer issues.

Project:

HP Insight Control delivers complete lifecycle management for HP ProLiant and BladeSystem infrastructure. Delivered on DVD media, Insight Control software uses an integrated installer to deploy and configure HP Systems Insight Manager (HP SIM) and essential infrastructure management software rapidly and consistently reducing manual installation procedures and speeding time-to-production.

Responsibilities:-

• Lead test engineer and onsite coordinator.

• HP Insight Control builds testing on Windows 2008, Windows 2012, and VMware, Microsoft, Linux virtual machines

• Onsite co-ordinator for 18 QA engineers, ~30 QA Dev managers and QA Leads situated in differently geographical location

• HP-Insight Disaster Recovery Testing on Windows 2008 and Windows 2012 Operating Systems

• Maintain HP-RDP and HP-IGNITE server for the production lab, install/update OS patches, and update latest firmware/drivers for Server and controllers as and when available

• Automation- Test web services using QTP and Web services add-in

• Performing tests on the HP c-class blade servers and enclosures.

• Validation of HP Systems Insight Manager and partners as and when there is a new release of Operating System/ ServicePack/Patches and Databases

• Validation of HP Systems Insight Manager and its partner products on new hardware.

• Attending test plan and test case and functional specification peer review.

• Interacting with onsite executives, business analysts, software architects to time tune, test script and implement the project.
