I lead design for Trust & Safety, contributing to a simpler content reporting experience and better personalization. I’ve also led efforts to improve playback and streaming in different connectivity scenarios.

I led design on the Trust & Controls team, helping our users better understand permitted transactions under our acceptable use policy. This reduced undesirable activity and helped increase good actors on our platform.

I led design on the Marketplace Trust & Safety team with the goal to design safe and reliable interactions between pros and customers. I worked on creating SSN-free background checks, achieving a significant lift in background check submissions on Thumbtack and leading to a healthier platform.

• I led the design vision and created end-to-end flows to make it easier for Walmart shoppers to read and write reviews on Walmart. This led to a 0.12% lift in GMV and a more than a 2x increase in the number of reviews read and submitted every day.

• For customers who lived far from the stores or did not want to pay shipping for a small order, I designed a feature let them pick up their orders from a nearby FedEx store.

• I created micro-interactions and explored motion design for our NextDay delivery and Wireless experiences to help users better understand multi-step interactions.

INFO 214: Needs and Usability Assessment

A semester long class at the Berkeley School of Information that teaches UX research methods used in the industry. I assisted Steve Fadden (Research Manager at Google) with grading assignments and occasionally giving my feedback on class projects.

DES INV 190-1: Reimagining Mobility

A semester long class at the Jacob's Institute of Design Innovation that encourages students to explore novels ways of how people might commute during the next 5 years. I assisted Lauren Ruiz with conducting office hours and offered my feedback on assignments and projects. This class was sponsored by Ford.
