I’ve worked in real production environments as a software engineer, which gives me a strong understanding of how applications, infrastructure, and users interact and where security issues often begin. I’m comfortable working with Linux and virtual machines, analysing traffic in Wireshark, running basic scans, and documenting findings clearly.

Actively working towards industry recognised cybersecurity certifications and developing a home lab to strengthen practical detection and response skills. Open to entry-level SOC, junior cyber security, IT support (security-focused), and internship/part-time roles in the UK.

Interested in learning, contributing, and growing in a real security operations environment.
