• Designed and implemented cloud-based location technology solution, central to the groundbreaking Qualcomm Aware Platform, that empowers IoT devices across diverse industries with real-time asset visibility and monitoring capabilities. For backend location data needs, acted swiftly while closely working with Systems and field collect teams for successful announcement and demonstrations at MWC Barcelona 2023.

• Developed a robust Big Data Analytics system to process ~5TB system data daily, using AWS, Hadoop, and Hive database. Spearheaded a data harvesting application by leveraging 3rd party APIs using Python & Hadoop. Application manages ~60 million data records on daily basis. Migrated an in-house data analytics solution used for processing and storing Cellular and Wi-Fi location data to AWS, using S3 classes, Sqoop, S3DistCp, EMR, Athena, SNS AWS services.

• Single-handedly executed a business-critical POC for an Authentication & Authorization solution to validate and enable IoT devices eligible for premier services.

• Developed Python and Ruby-based test automation tools to generate simulated test data, run system performance tests, and monitor system health under load. Integrated new services with a client simulator tool to enable validation of data processing on the server-side.

• Performed geofence & security controls validations for Child Safety and Tracking system (Little Buddy).

• Partnered with cross functional engineering team to develop new Pet Tracking system, now known as Whistle.

• Led a team responsible for the Geo expansion of Apple Point-of-Sale (POS) retail systems validation for Europe and the Asia Pacific regions.

• Spearheaded integration of ISD Payment gateway migration (from Cobol to Java), used by Apple retail stores across the US.
