# Mushfiq Rashid > SWE @ Crunchyroll (Sony) | ex-WBD (HBO Max) Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/mushfiqrashid Passionate technology enthusiast with 5+ years of software engineering experience, I love engineering efficient solutions that make a positive customer impact while providing world-class user experiences. Currently serving as a mid-level software engineer at Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) where I built our flagship streaming app Max (formerly HBO Max) on the Connected TV platform (Roku) and helped it grow to around 100 million subscribers and expanding to over 60 countries (and counting!). My proudest accomplishments here include building the Live Sports (B/R Sports) and News (CNN Max) experience to our customers and my favorite part is definitely being able to actually enjoy using what I build at the end of the day and hearing from friends and family everything they like (and occasionally not love) about the product. I am deeply passionate about creating a positive impact in my community through technology. This passion had driven me to lead an organization of 100+ members called Hack to Help in University where we taught programming to students of all different backgrounds through practical workshops on technical skills. I carried forward this mentorship later as a Computer Science Mentor for the CS Department tutoring over 1500 students per semester on various CS courses and projects. These on-campus engagements taught me how to organize my life and balance multiple responsibilities to prioritize my happiness while pursuing my career goals. That led me to succeed in several internship roles while performing my best in academia by graduating top of the department with a 4.0 GPA and Summa Cum Laude Honors. Let's connect if you want to want to discuss about how AI may (or may not) take all our jobs, share a cool project idea, or just chat about soccer, coffee, or life. ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer II @ Crunchyroll Jan 2025 – Present | San Francisco, CA Bringing the best streaming app experience to Anime fans worldwide! ### Software Engineer II @ Warner Bros.
