As a part of the ProdOps team, I supported our global product team with learning and development initiatives. A few of my main responsibilities included: - Led and enhanced the Product organization’s FTE and intern onboarding. Increased automations that reduced preparation time, enhanced the value of content, and created a playbook to support managers. Feedback from new hires was consistently a 4 out of 5 or higher. - Standardized roadmap planning and tracking for ProdOps by creating a “how we work” process, a team project board, and planning templates. This created visibility into work and reduced one-off questions. - Led and enhanced planning for monthly town halls to create clarity, build unity, and generate energy for 400+ person Product org. Satisfaction ratings were consistently over 80%. ### Senior Program Manager, Design Operations @ GitHub Jan 2023 – Jan 2024 | New York, United States As a part of the DesignOps team, I supported our 80+ person global design team to be happier and more effective in their day-to-day. This includes Product Design, Customer Research, Brand and Marketing Design, and Design Infrastructure. A few of my responsibilities included: - Created and managed Design’s first dynamic budget tracker and headcount tracker. Met with the Head of Design weekly to make decisions about allocating resources and worked with finance to approve them. - Owned Design’s procurement process to support managers and directors with contractors, tools, and vendors. Created business cases for senior leadership to assess enterprise tooling. - Led programming for the design team, including; monthly all-hands and internal conferences. The December conference included content from 15+ speakers and reached 78 live attendees plus a public audience on YouTube. When surveyed, 93% of respondents felt the conference was extremely engaging. - Aligned to brand and marketing projects to support the design team and agency in delivering projects on time, on budget, and on brand. Partnered with Sr. Director on creating operational enhancements to meeting structures, quarterly planning process, and design review process with external agencies. ### Senior Manager, Design Operations @ Stash Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | New York, United States Founded in 2015, Stash is an investing app focused on helping customers build long-term wealth through good habits and regular savings, instead of day trading. I joined Stash to establish a design operations practice to build and scale a team that would put in place mechanisms for scale. I served on the department’s leadership team to mature systems, processes, tools, frameworks, and community. A few of my main responsibilities included: - Increased design speed and quality by creating new systems, processes, and practices in undefined problem spaces. Initiatives included new hire onboarding, design playbook creation, design system rollout, brief template creation, and prioritization frameworks. - Enhanced cross-functional collaboration by introducing tools at the organization level that created efficiencies for Product Design. Tools included Asana (project planning), FigJam (whiteboarding), and a strategic tracker (annual roadmapping).
