Hi, I'm Natascha, a software engineer with a focus on backend systems and a growing specialization in applied AI and ML infrastructure. 

I've been especially interested in how LLMs can support practical use cases - like reducing manual compliance work or improving how users can search for and interact with documentation. I've built features that use embedding models and cosine similarity to surface accurate responses, and designed AI-powered tools that cut review time by over 70%.

Alongside my AI work, I’ve contributed to building scalable infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and graph databases like Neptune. I enjoy designing clean systems, writing maintainable code, and collaborating across teams to bring useful features to life.

I care about working on things that are both technically interesting and actually useful — and I really enjoy mentoring, pairing, and learning from other engineers. I’m also a big believer in kind engineering cultures.

### Software Engineer II @ Strike Graph

LLM Terraform Code Generation: Built an AI-driven system for generating Terraform code blocks using AWS Bedrock and OpenSearch. Designed document crawlers using Crawl4AI, implemented batched Lambda pipelines, and configured a Terraform MCP server for the project’s infrastructure. 

Graph-Driven Workflows: Currently developing a feature leveraging AWS Neptune to enable task tracking, user assignment, and entity relationships; responsible for node/edge upset logic and CRUD integration into AI repository.

AWS Neptune Graph Database: Designed architecture and implemented Neptune Connection Class and startup scripts using Python to introduce graph database support for AI and relationship-driven features. Established permission models, CRUD safety guards, and multi-environment separation to ensure data isolation and system integrity.

System Security Plan (SSP): Independently led end-to-end development of a System Security Plan module aligned to CMMC compliance frameworks, spanning infrastructure (Terraform), backend (API layer), and frontend. Created a critical feature that directly supported acquisition of federal contracts by enabling customers to certify compliance.
