Worked in the Chronos team as an Infra software engineer. Chronos is a fault-tolerant distributed job scheduling system, built to schedule computation and machine learning jobs from across Facebook.
Worked in the fleet management pod, which manages >500000 workers machines across multiple data centers.
Implemented a system to allow Chronos jobs to run less privileged isolated subcontainer, allowing framework teams to ensure the privacy of the jobs that run on them.
Worked in Integrity Rule Engines team before that.
Led a team of two in working on a rule engine implemented in Hack that is used by other problem-specific integrity teams within Facebook to implement their policies from scratch, taking the learnings that we have from our other rule engine in Haskell.
Facilitated the changes needed to support our sister teams to build their tooling on top of our infrastructure.
Worked with clients to consolidate their problem specific rule engines into our rule engines, with machine usage being reduced by 40% in some use cases, in addition to allowing their software engineer to focus on problem specific issues.
