As a VP of Engineering, I reported directly to the CTO and I managed tech leads, empowering them to be successful on their client projects, and progress in their career. This included defining individual progression goals for them and the developers on their team as well as coaching them to improve their technical, leadership and project management skills.

In addition, I was a member of the executive team and the technical leadership committee.

As a tech lead, I was responsible for the success of my projects and the progression of the developers I was working with. This included creating the technical strategy (architecture, coding standards and quality in accordance with the client’s constraints) for the projects, providing visibility to clients as well as coaching the engineers in my team.

During that time, I directly managed 9 engineers, 4 of which were promoted to tech lead.

As a software engineer, I delivered solutions for the projects I was on, advising clients and building features.

• I delivered multiple full-stack (including mobile) projects for multiple clients in France and the UK, using SCRUM, Lean, DevOps & continuous problem solving.

• I was selected as the first full-time engineer of the (then new) London office and was lucky enough to witness the growth of the business from scratch.
