They specialize in serving crepes, breakfast foods, and have a full espresso and coffee bars. During my time as Regional Manager I was in charge of around 30 employees at any time. Because of the size of the company, I was able to be very hands on in every aspect of the business. Some of by duties for all of the locations included •Scheduling all employees for all locations •Managing food and labor costs for all locations •Creating and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers •Managing payroll for all locations with Paychex •Developing new food and coffee items for all locations •Closely monitoring the P+L statements to maximize profit margins for each location During my time as Regional Manager I was able to consistently increase sales year after year and keep employee turnover to a minimum. The biggest goal I felt that I achieved in this position was creating a welcoming and enjoyable work environment for my employees while still keeping the business profitable for the owners. ### Store Manager @ The Perch Jan 2014 – Jan 2016 | Greater Nashville Area, TN When The Perch decided to open their second location in Nashville, I was promoted from a barista position at the original location to run the new store. As a store manager I was in charge of all employees and operations for that location. Some of the most valuable skills I learned in this position were how to create schedules to lower labor cost, how to cultivate relationships with vendors, how to manage cash flow and food cost, and how to communicate clearly with employees to get the best performance out of them. The most valuable trait that I learned from my time as a store manager was how to create a work environment that encourages and rewards good work for my employees. ### Barista @ The Perch Jan 2012 – Jan 2014 | Greater Nashville Area, TN As a barista for The Perch I specialized in making hand crafted espresso drinks and creating great customer service experiences. During my time at this position I was able to learn how to make specialized coffee drinks that required consistent precision over long periods of time. Another great trait that I was able to pick up from this position was time management in a stressful environment. I was able to create great lasting relationships with many customers, even though we were a very busy location.
