### Product Software Engineer @ QSAT
Jan 2026 – Present | Sydney, NSW
Quasar Satellite Technologies (QSAT) is a space communications startup focused on making space more accessible, secure, and sustainable. Behind the scenes, QSAT is commercialising phased array antenna hardware originally developed at the CSIRO.

 • Collaboratively leading the software/hardware deployment of our ground station systems to our sites across Australia, from traditional dishes to phased array antennas, for both satellite communications (SATCOM) and space domain awareness (SDA) applications.

 • Designing, developing, and maintaining our Kubernetes clusters across Azure-hosted and on-premesis server infrastructure, including our backend services.

 • Wrangling DevOps tools to monitor datapoints from across our physical hardware/software stack using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and our own internally-developed tooling.

### Lead Designer / Software Engineer @ QSAT
Jan 2022 – Jan 2026 | Sydney, NSW
My role is still largely the same, had to officially rename it to properly encompass the broad scope of stuff I usually tackle on a day-to-day basis.

 • First product-focused software engineering hire, established our early design system and software products for interfacing with our hardware (including our portals, APIs, and SDKs).

 • Led the design and development of our marketing efforts. This includes our rebrand from QuasarSat to QSAT, designed entirely in-house in consultation with the team.

### Lead Designer / Software Engineer @ Okendo
Jan 2019 – Jan 2022 | Sydney, NSW
Okendo is a tech startup specialising in SaaS consumer marketing software (particularly reviews) for ecommerce stores built on the Shopify platform. Okendo is used by Netflix, Nomad, Crunchyroll, and others.

 • Hired some of our very first in-house designers, and established early branding guidelines and design operations.

 • Coordinated the design of the Partner Portal as part of the first Okendo Partner Program, also contributed to development in tandem with other developers.

 • Architected internal systems and portals to support our support staff, and wrangled with DevOps tools to improve the efficacy of our monitoring and reporting.

 • Led the design and development of the early Okendo website together with marketers, content aficionados, and other wonderful people across multiple timezones (AU/US).
