We live in a crazy age of technology, and there are two things that fascinate me most about the world of software development. First: that the lines of text we write can be translated into nearly anything that we would like. And second: that it takes more than just a developer to build a well-rounded application--you have to consider both the rational and irrational mind of the consumer and the experience that you are creating.

I find that this same thinking can also apply in leadership, because when you connect with your fellow team members or consumers, you have to balance the logical limits of your application and the interesting irrationality of certain demands--to pick out the best ideas, create a more optimized feature, and also to scale.

Over the past 5 years, I've worked as a fullstack engineer to build out a new UI for an on-boarding system, creating UI components, navigating Scrum meetings, setting up pipelines, and designing systems.

Outside of work, I enjoy trying out new video games, working on my car, and exploring nature. I also frequently look for novel places to eat at!

### Senior Software Engineer @ CloudTrucks
Jan 2025 – Present | San Francisco, California, United States
• Shaped and maintained the frontend codebase to enhance scalability and maintainability.  
• Optimized the onboarding flow, achieving a nearly 80% reduction in onboarding time for drivers.  
• Migrated the learning management system to a new vendor, resulting in lower costs and improved functionality.  
• Implemented an insurance automation flow, reducing monthly costs by $6,000.
