### Software Engineer Intern @ Raptor Maps — Solar Software

As an engineering intern, I completed two projects in order to implement two highly-requested features by Raptor Maps customers. In my first project, I developed API routes using OpenAPI Generator and utilized TypeScript to display a tile map layer for users viewing their solar modules (a feature implemented for over 66 million solar modules). In my second project, I implemented new API routes, module information caching, and a front-end accordion to allow users to quickly view quantitative information for their solar farms without having to access large flash report files.

As a Summer Research Fellow, I conducted research on the genetic etiology of atrial fibrillation (AF) and the omnigenic model’s applicability in AF’s emergence, under the mentorship of Broad Institute Research Fellow during the Broad Summer Research Program (BSRP). During the project, I analyzed largest available AF GWAS and RVAS datasets using R, calculated enrichment of gene pathways in these datasets through MAGMA generalized gene-set analysis, and compared correlation strengths of gene pathways to genes. I presented my research project findings to over 50 guests including BSRP faculty and other researchers from the Broad Institute.
