• I worked on rewriting an application called KAES (Kinship Analysis Expert System) under the tutelage of Dr. Murray Leaf, Professor of Anthropology and Political Economy at UTD.
• The program's principal purpose is to analyze a kinship terminology map - it is a system of names applied to categories of kin standing in relationship to one another - widely used in Anthropology. The application then expresses those relationships algebraically, and reconstructs the map from the said algebraic formulas. 
• I set up a website that will house a version of the software that can be downloaded along with detailed guides on how to leverage the application.
