At Strava, I sit on the Design Systems team, bridging the gap between design and engineering. As a Design Technologist, my work focuses on prototyping, working with animations, pitching new features, and driving creative explorations. I use tools like Rive, Jetpack Compose, SwiftUI and Figma to design and code interactive prototypes on the Android & iOS platform.

As a Tech Fellow at Rewriting the Code, I am honored to be part of an organization dedicated to empowering women in technology from minority and underrepresented backgrounds. In this role, I actively engage in initiatives that foster community, provide mentorship, and advocate for increased diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. Being accepted as a Tech Fellow has not only enhanced my technical skills but has also allowed me to contribute to a supportive network that is reshaping the narrative for women in technology.

As an iOS Engineer on The New York Times Games team, I contributed to a product with over 6 million daily users. I worked on the newly released Wordle Archive feature, which was shipped to over 2 million users, by resolving a key accessibility UI bug. Additionally, I participated in the intern game jam, where I pitched an idea for a new game. My capstone project involved designing and developing a prototype for a new leaderboard experience within the Games app. This experience allowed me to engage in both design and iOS development, deepening my skills and understanding in these areas.

As an Iscicle Student Partner, I had the privilege of collaborating directly with the co-founders to build the world's largest international student network. Iscicle, as a startup, presented an exciting chance to contribute to its growth and vision. My responsibilities included implementing innovative strategies to promote this newly web-based social platform for international students. Working with Iscicle was an amazing opportunity for me, particularly because of their dedication to supporting minorities. Contributing to their vision was both fulfilling and inspiring, aligning perfectly with my passion for tech startups.

Engineered the entire user profile screen, incorporating functionality for photo uploads and profile management, utilizing SwiftUI to create a seamless and interactive user experience. Created a splash screen animation using SwiftUI, improving the app’s user interaction. Assisted with the app’s deployment to TestFlight, gaining experience with App Store Connect.
