I am a multidisciplinary designer located in the San Francisco Bay area, with a diverse skill set that spans product design, interaction prototyping, systems design, branding, illustration, and print.
As designer #1 at Higharc, an intelligent homebuilding web-based platform, I led all UX/UI and brand design efforts where I developed user-centered design solutions through UX flows, visual mocks, prototypes, and marketing collateral across a variety of media and platforms, aligning design goals with business objectives. Refreshed the brand, applied it to the product and all marketing materials for print, digital, and social media. Recruited, mentored, supervised, and elevated a budding intern to junior to product designer level.
Built curriculum for and co-taught a visual design fundamentals class, nicknamed VizFun, alongside my d.school teaching team. Additionally, I helped lead studio sessions and pop-up classes in the aforementioned subject.
Designed skill-based learning experiences (mobile and web) and branded online courses for new generations of young creative makers. Contributed to an already consistent and expressive UI component library geared toward kids. Created new illustrations to a set of beautifully crafted visuals foundational to the JAM and DIY brands.
Designed UX/UI and branding for Ozlo, a conversational AI and next-gen mobile search. Created UX flows, visual mocks, and interaction prototypes, collaborating with stakeholders to build user-centered experiences. Established the Ozlo brand for all marketing materials.
As a key player on the product design team, I shipped thoughtfully crafted user interfaces and key features for Klout’s eponymous consumer web app, designing UX flows, UI mocks, and branded illustrations. During my time there, I strived to ship products with strong visual design, intuitive user experiences, and expressive interactions. I also played a leading role in establishing a product/brand guide to unify the brand and product more consistently.
